Despite the huge failure of the previous generation, the German manufacturer is persistent to continue with cars that use alternative sources of power. So, the next generation of the legendary premium sedan will come as 2018 Audi A6 Hybrid. To remind you, this is one of the best-known models from Audi. It is present for 23 years. The original model came in 1994 and we have seen four generations so far. However, the fifth generation is already on its way.

Alternative sources of power are the future of car industry. Diesel engines will be retired soon, but gasoline units won’t last for long also. So, this model won’t compete just with Japanese premium models from Acura, Lexus, and Infiniti, or some North American models. Audi’s arch rivals BMW and Mercedes will also launch their hybrid and electric models. So, this will raise a battle between these three companies on a completely new level.

The 2018 Audi A6 Hybrid will probably come next year. The conventional version of new generation might come late this year, but this particular version definitely won’t be ready so soon.
