The 2019 Audi RS7 PHEV will be a completely new model from the German manufacturer. The company works on the next generation of the familiar A6-based fastback.

The original model came in 2011, based on the current A6 model. So, the second generation will come along with the new version of the famous mid-size sedan. The new model will most likely come in next year, with many novelties. We are also going to see its hi-performance variant as RS7. Moreover, we will see it in two variants.

This system features a familiar 4.0-liter V8 gasoline engine in a combination with an electric motor and lithium-ion battery pack. According to the latest reports, this powertrain will be even more powerful than the current version of Panamera. We expect to see a total output of 700 horsepower and 630 pound-feet of torque.

With this huge amount of power, you should expect nothing less than absolutely amazing performances, such as 0-60 time in less than 4 seconds etc. The new generation of this hi-performance fastback will also come in conventional V8 gasoline variant, featuring a familiar 4.0-liter engine with max power of 650 horsepower, which is for about 50 horses more compared to the current generation.
