2019 BMW i8 Review, Specs

The upcoming 2019 BMW i8 is a mid-size coupe with a sharp look, great speed potential, and hybrid drivetrain. Firstly introduced in 2013, the i8 model remained a popular hybrid sports car. However, now is a perfect time for refreshments, and BMW already showcased the i8 Coupe model at the Los Angeles Auto Show in 2017.

The changes are minor but visible with some new styling tweaks. New and better battery pack isn’t visible but it will mean so much in the further journey of BMW i8. An all-electric range and even power are now better and only the time will show if new i8 is ready to step up against other hybrid rivals.

2019 BMW i8 Comes with futuristic design as always

The 2019 BMW i8 doesn’t look much different from the outgoing model. The hood is still flat and it slightly curves down below towards the pavement. Headlights are narrower and with LED units. Between them, comes a kidney front-grille with a horizontal vent above the grille.

The front grille comes with an air flap and air curtains. Those features will help in manipulating the air in a much better and natural way. The air is better manipulated in overall, as the air is directed more through the car’s fenders and arches than through the hood like before.

The roofline looks long and low and the rear end looks beefier and muscular. For the 2019 model, a new set of paints are available such as Frozen Grey Metallic, Donington Grey Metallic, and E-Cooper Metallic. As usual, i8 is an aerodynamic coupe and will remain as such.
