Side skirts also suffered some design changes, and lightweight wheels are coming in matte black.
At the back, a rear wing is fixed in order to increase downforce on the rear axle. Also, a huge double diffuser is added and exhaust tip at the center is flanked by two smaller outlets. The carbon roof not only that looks flashy but also reduces car’s weight even more. The long hood and short deck give the Mercedes AMG GT Hybrid even greater appearance.

2019 Mercedes AMG GT Hybrid Engine Specs
The big innovation about 2019 Mercedes AMG GT is a hybrid engine. Mercedes opted for a hybrid system that will use a 4.0-liter bi-turbo V8 engine and a rear-mounted electric motor. All combined, it can produce up to 800 HP. Compared to Porsche Panamera Turbo SE Hybrid, the Mercedes AMG GT produces almost 100 horsepower more. The AMG GT Hybrid comes with the all-wheel-drive system and torque vectoring system.
It means that each of four-wheel is allocated to a specific amount of torque, individually. In that way, a balanced driving experience is created. This four-doors coupe is Mercedes’s second vehicle that will use EQ Power+ designation. It is a system that will all future Mercedes hybrids use, and it will provide pure performance with super efficiency ratings. When putting AMG GT Hybrid in numbers, it can reach 0 to 60 mph in under three seconds. Again, comparing these numbers to a Porsche Panamera, that can reach the same speed in 3.2 seconds, it is impressive indeed.
