The new reshaped bumper is now wider, and the matte-black cover protects a bumper from rocks and scratching the paint. In the bumper corners, fog lights are added as well. The roof is easily accessible, so anything you need to strap on, now can be done with minimum effort. All four trims are coming with AWD and with automatic headlights. Additionally, 17-inch wheels are coming as standard.

The upcoming 2019 Subaru Outback is using an engine configuration known as “boxer”. To make it more simple, imagine a “V-type” engine where “V” is widening until it becomes a flat line. This engine is a 2.5-liter boxer-4 engine. It is providing 175hp and 174 lb-ft of torque. Second, optional engine is the 3.6-liter flat-6 unit, with 256hp and 245 lb-ft of torque. Both engines are using an automatic transmission and AWD is coming as standard.

The manufacturer in the upcoming model will also add electric motor and battery. We don’t have official numbers what will be included in the 2019 Subaru Outback Hybrid. But we expect official numbers soon.

The price of new 2019 Subaru Outback is around $27,000. This price stands for a base model with the 2.5-liter engine. Premium trim with the 3.6-liter engine is $37,500. Looking at these prices, the 2019 Subaru Outback Hybrid is expected to be priced around $35,000. This price includes standard equipment. The vehicle will hit the market in the first quartal of 2019.
