Toyota is planning to expand their lineup and take it to the next level. The Japanese car manufacturer announced that the 2019 Toyota Yaris Hybrid is coming as the main part of these plans. Toyota established a lot of models in the U.S. market. The new Yaris is updated, especially exterior that looks aggressive.
The new hybrid model offers good safety rating, easy driving, and practicality. On top of that, Toyota says that the upcoming hybrid model comes with a quieter cabin thanks to a new front driveshaft, modified airbox system, and redesigned engine mounts. 2019 Toyota Yaris Hybrid Comes with a Wider Grill
The exterior of 2019 Toyota Yaris Hybrid is not completely changed, but the facelift suffered just enough upgrades to call it a change. While upfront almost everything is the same, the grille is wider at the top. Fog lamps are slightly redesigned and are little narrower than before. The nose above the bumper is reshaped and Yaris now looks bulkier as a result. The black elements are removed and everything is now in body color.
The headlamps now come with more angular design and a new layout with LED strips. Now the customers can choose 3 or 5-door model, but the exterior dimensions are the same. If the rear seats are often in use, we recommend 5-door model, mostly because of easier access.
While standard model features 15-inch alloy wheels, the Hybrid model offers new 16-inch wheels.
Finally, Toyota Yaris Hybrid is available with two new colors, Hydro Blue and Tokyo Red, and there are now 10 different exterior colors in the lineup.

Just like the exterior, the forthcoming 2019 Toyota Yaris Hybrid comes with revised interior with some minor changes. The cabin looks both modern and fresh. There are a new upholstery and colors, upgraded instrumentation and the center console as well.
The main highlight is a completely new 4.2-inch TFT screen in the instrument cluster and is optional.
The new display will provide all additional information so driving is much easier and safer. A three-spoke steering wheel now comes with buttons on both arms. If you opt for mid trim models or higher, one will get a piano black trim. Like mentioned above, the Japanese carmaker suggests that the cabin is now quieter thanks to a couple of new modifications.
2019 Toyota Yaris Hybrid Engine Details
The base model Toyota Yaris will have under the hood a 1.5-liter engine that returns 111 HP. Compared to the outgoing model, Yaris is now 0.8 seconds faster when reaching 0 to 60 mph. The new engine is not only more powerful but is also more efficient with 51.6mpg. The naturally aspirated engine mated to a six-speed manual transmission, and even CVT.
Now, Toyota announced the refreshments on the upcoming model also means a hybrid model. Yaris Hybrid is using a 1.5 l petrol Hybrid engine, that uses a five-speed manual gearbox. The hybrid drivetrain is coming with a set of powerful batteries and is producing additional 92 HP. The engine Hybrid Synergy Drive is more powerful than on Prius base model that first introduced a hybrid model.
2019 Toyota Yaris Hybrid Price and Release Date
The cost of all-new 2019 Toyota Yaris Hybrid starts from $14,000 to $19,000 and there are many things that can influence the final price. Higher trim level and some options loaded could get you to a maximum price, but the difference in price is small and not so significant. Yaris Hybrid model will hit the dealerships at the very end of 2018 as a 2019 model.
