It uses a 2.0-liter gasoline engine in a combination with two electric motors. According to some reports, the gasoline engine is good for 212 horsepower, while electric motors can produce over 180 horses. So, expect plenty of power.
Besides new hybrid powertrain, this crossover will continue with conventional gasoline units. There is a 2.4-liter engine with 184 horsepower.
There is also a new 1.5-liter Turbo, which is good for about 190 horses. For markets like Europe, there is also a diesel variant. It features a 1.6-liter Turbo engine that is good for about 160 horsepower.
2018 Honda CR-V Hybrid release date and price
The 2018 Honda CR-V Hybrid will come by the end of the year. The exact price is still unknown. However, if we consider that the base gasoline model goes around 24.000 dollars, the new hybrid version should cost around 30.000 dollars.
When it comes to the competition, there are hybrid versions of Toyota RAV4, Nissan Rogue and few other crossovers on the market.
