The company prepared a completely new powertrain for the 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLC F-Cell. It consists of an electric motor that is good for about 197 horsepower and 248 pound-feet of torque. This electric motor comes with a 13.2-kWh lithium-ion battery pack. In addition, there are also two fuel cell tanks. One of them is positioned under rear seats.
The company claims the whole system is much more compact compared to the fuel cell version of B-Class. On the other side, it features better numbers in all aspects. Besides more power, we will see a better range. According to the company’s spokesman, the new model will be good for about 270 miles. In the all-electric model, this crossover can reach 49 miles.
