The engine of 2018 Nissan X-Trail will be powered by a supercharged inline-4, 1.6-liter engine. This will have the capacity to produce 128 HP. However, the Nissan chooses to pair this engine with Xtronic CVT transmission which would have six speeds. The base driving system would be the front-wheel one, however, an option for the four-wheel driving system will be available, with additional payment. This engine is expected to give a fuel efficiency of 26 mpg in the city, 33 mpg on the highway.
